The Church by the Lake

Located near the Garrison Dam and the beautiful waters of Lake Sakakawea, St. Nicholas Church is a place of faith, prayer, and community for all who visit. Whether you are a parishioner, visitor, or traveler passing through, we warmly welcome you.

A spiritual home for all

For generations, our church has been a spiritual home at the heart of the community — offering a place for prayer, celebration, and connection through the sacraments, service, and shared faith.

We continue our mission of spreading God's love and compassion to all, and we look forward to welcoming you to St. Nicholas Church.

Whether you are new to the area, returning to the Church, or seeking a spiritual home, we are blessed to have you with us. May your time in our community strengthen your faith, deepen your peace, and draw you ever nearer to the love of God.

"Faith is the light that guides us, and the Church is the home that shelters that light."
